Climate Chaos is a board game a group of classmates and I designed to draw attention to climate change and how it affects wildlife.
A parody of “Twister” this game uses Cause Cards to “melt away” spots on the mat. As spots disappear the “animals” playing share less and less space. There is also a special player, “polluting business,” who has priority over spots on the mat. Eventually the animals will either die or be eliminated. Not to worry, there is hope. If the spinner lands on a (nonexistent) purple spot there is a chance spots may be added back to the mat!
